67 Quarter post seal tab

#1

Post by 67xr7390gt »

Hi
Does anyone have a good picture of the quarter post window seal that screws to top of the B pillar.
The Ford licensed part fits but there is a tab of rubber on the top, outside which seems to just float in mid air,not really doing anything?
Thanks

The reproduction is a bit taller than the original part. The red car has the new piece, green car has an original. The part that sticks up blocks much of the water that would enter the rear quarter when driving in heavy rain.

Thanks Royce,
I had a plan to modify and reduce the height of it,those pictures have made it very clear.Original always best.
Much appreciated.
