1968 XR7G 36x48" Mercury Dealer Showroom poster reprints for sale

I was approached last night by the owner of the poster that this copy shown below was made from years ago. He is deciding whether he wants to sell me the original poster or let me make a run of reprints from it but either way I plan on having at least 20 full size copies made and maybe a run of 100 much smaller copies. I am reaching out for 2 reasons, one does anybody here have connections to reprint it from the large digital file we will create and also what size do most folks prefer? The original size 36x48" is stunning but I assume more folks would opt for a less expensive version that would be cheaper to produce, ship and frame. The framing gets REALLY expensive when you go beyond the standard 24x36" poster size.

Don - I know a very reliable printer in Munster, IN., Largus Graphix, who does great work. http://www.largusgs.com/ The owner's name is Tom and I have used him for years. He also printed our 50th Anniversary Show - Dearborn booklets.

Costco does 24X36 acrylic prints for $169, metal for $119
They also do just regular prints 20X30 for $9.99!
I'd probably be down for a full-size version.

I've contacted our local print shop that does the calendars, it would make more sense to do them at a commercial print shop close to us. Will let you guys know when we find out what the pricing would be, and when they become available!

The car featured is identical to the one I sat in spring '71 in the front used car row at a Pontiac dealer in NY. You bet I'll want one!

Don -- Do you intend to change the misspelling in the original "Couger" to keep them from being mistaken for originals?

I'd be curious to inspect the original that this copy was made from.

Very different from original.

Depending on quality and price, I would be interested in a full size poster, as close to original as possible.

I’d be interested to see what the prices are for each. I’d lean towards the full size but the 24x36 would be a close 2nd.
