8th grade book report video

Post by SuperCJcat » 19 Jan 2018, 11:33

My sons winter book report had two required parts, written and video. He chose to do it on “The Tasca Ford Legacy”. He didn’t want to do the video part and was set against it. I suggested that he could do it in one of the cars, he agreed to do it in the Shelby. But then he had to right a script and memorize it. He decided to change to the Eliminator because it was easier to go along with his book report. I think it he did a real good job considering it was so cold out!!!

In the words of our local racetrack announcer "Very Nicely Done!"

I'm a video editor by profession and find myself often helping on school projects like these. But my OCD kicks in too often. You needed to close the door the rest of the way.

It was closed for most of the 40 or so takes, it right before he made it through this one, he started the car and it stalled, I started and let car warm up a bit then he made it through this version, and the door wasn’t closed. I offered to record it again but he was to cold 18* out with garage door open. We stuck with this one. :D

Great Videos! I enjoyed watching the one filmed in 2009. It is great to be able to share our passion with our kids and then be able to see their growth/memories. I am going to start filming the the boys and I working on my cat. Thanks for the insperation. #PRICELESS
