Looking for a 67/8 hood

IF there was ever any doubt that this is a real community, get this: Don Rush of West Coast Classic Cougars asked for a forum where he could GIVE stuff away: FREE! And you know, there is a lot of stuff floating around that I think we would all like to see go to a good home rather than to the land fill. I know that my garage contains a few items that I would like to find a new home. So post your FREE stuff here!

I just picked one up this past weekend, but I think I'm a little far away for you.

There was one on eBay for $99 but it was in cali.

I picked up a 67 donor car for $500, the hood only has rust on the underside, the nose area at the very front, other than that it's great. All edges and corners and all that are rock solid. So hoods are out there, for sure

Sorry, I thought I had my location displayed. I'm in Massachusetts, so more than a few hundred miles away, unfortunately. But as others noted, the parts are out there. The hood I found this weekend was literally by accident. Someone saw my Cougar at a car show and left a business card with me. The business card belonged to a guy who has a whole collection of body panels and other assorted Cougar parts in his barn. I ended up with the hood, a quarter panel, a Sun-X rear window, and a pair of really nice quarter window frames with good Sun-X glass for a total of $300. I know he has another hood but it has heavy surface rust on it.
