Just bought my first car (68 couger)

From dusty barn find to daily driver, it seems our cars are never really done. This is the place to share your progress on your project car. We will celebrate your victories and commiserate over your tragedies. But most of all this is a great place to learn!

We too a look at the vin an the original color is 3120-a yellow
The color code isn't part of the VIN, nor is it a number; it's a single letter on the door tag (metal tag on the driver's door, under the latch). If you want to post the info on that tag we can tell you what it all means.

Anyway congrats, looks like a fun car!

the first time I googled that code I came up as Saxony yellow but that could have just been a fluke but thanks for pointing that out, but I do know it is the Saxony because we found the color hidden by the headlights and as far as I know the car has only been painted once
and a bad paintjob at that lol I hate the color so ill be getting it re painted not sure what color yet.
