My very s-l-o-w 68 build

From dusty barn find to daily driver, it seems our cars are never really done. This is the place to share your progress on your project car. We will celebrate your victories and commiserate over your tragedies. But most of all this is a great place to learn!

Hey Jon,

I just purchased a 1968 standard, and although my car is in better shape, I still have A LOT of work to do! I figure we can learn together.

OH man brother, that things looks beautiful. That was the original color of my car and the color I want to go back to when I get the body work done and the car repainted.Once I got my cougar I joined this forum to learn more about the car, but to learn and get insight from others. Would definitely be cool to learn with someone else. Like so many others, you car gives me so much motivation.

Excellent!

I just ordered the magnum 500 15 x 7 aluminum gloss rims from WCCC's website. Do you know if the BFGoodrich 225 60/15 tires will fit without rubbing?

Happy Holidays!

That’s what I have on one of our cats and they fit well. 225/60 R15 are the same height as the stock 70 and 78 series tires that were originally on 67 and 68 Cougars from the factory.
Thanks, Scott Ferguson
