Again, I don't have access to the correct paint code as I am currently on holiday away from home, but I do recall that it is labelled as "Ford Dark Blue". There are of course several Ford blues, but the one you see in the pictures is the correct '60s Ford engine blue. Happy to pass along more specific details when I return home in one week's time.

My apologies...I just re-read your post. You were clearly asking about the engine paint, not the engine bay paint. The "Ford Dark Blue" also has several clear coats on it as well.

Oh man, I can’t see the pics due to some hosting issue with PB. Any chance you can repost with the gallery? I’m very interested in the engine bay pics. I will be doing mine, and I was going to go with a satin black.

Thanks...The engine compartment itself is actually a "Chrysler - Low Gloss Black". The blue is simply "Ford Dark Blue".
