'69 Interior Project - Some Progress

From dusty barn find to daily driver, it seems our cars are never really done. This is the place to share your progress on your project car. We will celebrate your victories and commiserate over your tragedies. But most of all this is a great place to learn!

Glad to see an update, Dave. It's been nearly three years.

I'm motivated now. I hope to get it all done in time for Prowl 2017!

Thanks. If I can get the paint on before winter, I should make it.

I'm pretty much done with the bodywork and everything is primed but I'll need to wait until it warms up to start painting.

Seats are done.

The adapters are just angle steel with one set of holes for the seats and one set for the tracks.

Here's the tracks mounted.

I had some fiberboard left over from my speaker mounts so I made these trunk extensions that are sturdy enough to support the mat and stay flat.

Looks good and it gives me an idea about my trunk extensions. Glad to see you're getting it done.

Looking good, Dave! I think Eric did a really nice job with your custom seats.

Dave, I really like how the seats came out. I hope you get the warmer weather you need soon.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I can't wait to get the seats back in the car - they fit me so much better than the stock seats and add more legroom and headroom in the process.
