Wow! That steering wheel looks awesome! You should have made a video of the restoration.

Sorry to see the metal bits on the head though. That stinks :-/

The machine shop and guys doing the work have done several motors for me over the years with great results every time. I took it back to them today and they were embarrassed and are going to tear it down and make sure it is perfect. I saw the motor when it was all done except intake and rocker arms/ pushrods and it was clean. Not sure what happened in the meantime.

Thanks for the compliments on the wheel. I would have done video but it would have taken way too dang many hours!
