Windshield Trim Clip Mounting Studs Missing

#1

Post by CougarJoe22 »

When i bought this car there was no windshield trim attached. I pulled the windshield and of course whoever did the bodywork must have ground off the little studs that hold the clips on to the body. I'm looking for any ideas/suggestions to help figure out how I am going to get the trim attached. Thanks in advance!

You can use small screws to install new clips.

I use 1/8" steel pop rivets to secure clips in the missing pin locations.
