"Over-restored"!

That's a great way to look at it!!

It is the same dilemma a lot of people restoring their cars face - should it be restored the way it really was or the way it was supposed to be?

The original mission was to do as authentic a recreation as possible and now that I think about it we should stick to that.

So my inclination has flip-flopped to keeping the typo.

I'm definitely down for one or two. Just have to see what the final dimensions are.

Over-restored? Think factory recall.

Thank you for offering to make two runs. Please do, if it isn't too much trouble. :wall:

Have any prices been set for either the small or large poster? Inquiring minds would like to know.

🐾
Correct spelling would be a great way to identify the reproductions. Certainly most people seeking to display could have an argument to go either way.

The few people with the original copies may have an option. There can’t be too many of the original posters still in existence, it would be neat to learn how many have survived.

Love seeing the vintage materials being offered.

Keep up the great work.

Not yet, but the scans and artwork are just about done. It's looking really good! Very accurate but looks fresh and new, rather than 50 years old. Hopefully we'll have an update soon!

Just saw a proof in person today and it looks amazing. The full size version is on a nice thick heavy paper, and the text and images look beautiful. We are only doing a limited run of the full size for now to see how they do - 25 "concours" versions with the misspelled "Couger" and 25 corrected versions. Not sure what the final retail price will be on these, probably around $50. We're talking about only making the "concours" versions available for customers who order a certain amount and get one for free.

The downsized poster version (24x36) looks great too, and we will print 200 of those. They will be a good deal, probably around $15-$20.

Here I am inspecting the full size proof:

Those look AWESOME! Nice work.
1968 XR-7 Augusta Green, J-Code, 5 litre, Autolite 6100, 5 spd, convertible with heated seats, cruise control and rear sway bar.

BTW, I think electronic ignition is pointless.
