Hi Randy, LTNS! Hope all is well. 69XRRR7, from the looks of your pictures, I'd say you have a very good chance at getting your existing mount off, I see bubbles in the glue on the face of the mount and the edges look pretty UV worn from the sun. Still a good bit of "pucker factor" in attempting the maneuver though!

Hi Bob, yeah it has been a while. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with what is going on here again. Now back to the original question if it were me I would be trying the remove the old mount using something to loosen the old glue. Just be sure to protect your dash pad from anything dripping onto it. A product like Goo-Gone or Goof Off probably will not hurt the pad. Others like acetone probably would.
