I'm another Spokane boy :-) Grew up in Airway Heights, went to Jr High and High School in Cheney. Grandparents had a farm out on the Palouse. Wife and I do get up that way to see our folks a few times a year ~ they are up on the South Hill.
One of these days I'm going to drive my Cougar up for the Car D'alene show. Someday.

How about this year? I just made my reservations at a hotel in Coeur d'Alene and submitted my preregistration for the show.

Well, I have been working on various "driveability" projects so that longer trips are less risky. Trouble is, if the family goes then that means two cars. Wife and daughter are delicate, and require air conditioning in a well-sound-proofed conveyance from the modern era :wall:

Never a bad idea to have a second car when you travel in vintage iron...and I find that there isn't enough room for the three of us, our luggage, some tools, munchies, a cooler, folding chairs, etc., to take just one car!

Just brought it up in Congress. Apparently June 15th is the last day of school, and the wife works Saturdays. So this will require a bit more negotiating across the aisle before any sort of Bill is proposed and voted on. Unfortunately, mine is the Minority party, so I'm not sure how well this will go :-/

*Original drivetrain and other parts are being offered seperately for more money. Why not bundle it all together and just ask a bit more, like $2.5k starting bid?
