Sending a PM...

#1

Post by anthem75 » 01 Jan 2018, 12:07

Hello all....

Tried to send a PM to someone on this forum the other day, and it looks to me like the message is stuck in my Outbox. The little dialogue box next to the subject line in the Outbox folder says "Sent on..(date)", but there is still a (1) next to the Outbox heading on my messages page. Also, the message itself does not appear in my "Sent" folder.

A little help, if you please...
Thanks.

As far as I know, It will stay there (in your outbox) until the recipient picks it up. I know, I've had that happen to me before as well.

Yep. That is how it works. You will see it in your out box until the receiver opens it. Some times you have to post in the thread that you have sent one to prompt folks to open them.

Got the PM.
I saw the email that it had arrived, but got side tracked for a few days and forgot to read it.
Thanks,
Gerry
