Who is everyone purchasing from? Best fit? Best price? Looking to re-upholster 69 XR7 buckets. I 'd like the best on the market.

Thanks!

I can only speak to the seat foam inserts I used on Pole Cat which came from Johns Classic Cougars. These inserts seemed to be of high quality and the fit / finish of the foam was fine. I did not have to sand or adjust in any way. They come with reinforced backing where the springs and frame would touch. I still put extra backing between them and the springs/frame. They have been in use for two seasons now and seem to be fine. The wife can still see over the dash pad so life is good.

I bought 69 XR 7 seat foams from a place called Mustang Market several years ago. They fit fine but seem a little soft.

Hmmmm. I've been solicited by Mustangs plus which claims to have the BEST. Decisions, decisions.... I was honestly hoping for a much larger response. Cougar seats (other then wrap) are the same base as Mustangs.

I need new foam in our 69 XR7 as well so I am paying attention here too. WCCC has some, but are they the same as John's Classic Cougars? I hope there will be more response too.

I'm having mine made at the upholstery shop. I'm. Hoping they come out good. I'll post pics when it's done.

Interested in this info too. My 68 will need new foam for the fronts. I was hopping to be able to buy everything and do the install/ labor myself vs paying an upholstery shop to do it.

I used the upgraded stuff from NPD. Very happy with the results:
