This time of year can be a good time for looking. You may be surprised with what is for sale.
I haven’t seen much around here in the PNW for what I’m looking for. 67-68 w/4 speed. I can find some on eBay, but they seem to be all dealers which I’d like to stay away from.

Here is a 1967 Cougar 4 speed that I saw on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Mercury-C ... dt&vxp=mtr
It looks like a pretty solid Cougar.

I usually find the best deals from now until the end of Feb. Welcome! I say be picky and take your time. If you have to ponder it long and hard just pass. The one you pull the trigger on should be a no brainer, quick buy it before someone else does! Have you checked out our " what to look for videos?"

Yes I have watched those! A couple of times as a matter of fact as well as a couple of the other videos, even though I don’t own one yet. I am going to be picky with this purchase, I am dead set on a 4 speed, but I am open to 69s and 70s also.
