Wish my PO hadn't sprayed everything with black crap. It's been 90F+ here all week. After about two hours I'm ringing wet and covered in crap. Oh for a hoist
Even with the hoist your going to get filthy doing this. But on your back... It isn't 90 degrees here at this time of year, but the heat pump in the shop is out of order and far to expensive to use much. But it has been about 45 in the shop when I'm working. Cold but survivable.

Amazing what we do to get our cars up to our own personal standards. Still, looks good and I think the effort/mess is worth it. It is looking great.

Note, only the mufflers and tail pipes are installed for the exhaust. They will hang correctly when I get the rest installed.(I hope)
Another note, the black over spray on the rear valance was from the old trailer hitch. I hope it will come off when I polish it up

Just call me a farmer...

Image

I spent a couple weeks finishing up my garden and shed. I halled The red blocks, about 7 yards of tri mix garden soil and built the shed. When it was to nasty out I did work on the car some. I have the front suspention removed and have been scrybing the wheel wells and engine compartment. I also have the grill and front bumper off so I can do a good job detailing the core support and other areas.

Image

L/H Front wheel well. Notice that it is mostly body color and not black. Also some red oxide primer showing through at the rear. I can not duplicat this finish, it will be black when I am finished. I stillhave a lot to do here before I hit it with any paint. Eastwood's Rust incapisulator will be used to stop the surface rust.

Image

I have a lot of parts to clean and detail. these parts are not done when I took this picture. I have a lot done, but a ton more to do.
