Wheels look great so far! I have a set I need blasted. How much did it cost to have it done?

6 wheels, 2 air cleaners, 2 pulies and 2 shock tower braces was $197.37 with $16.25 going to the Governor. Not cheep, but I could not do the wheels in my small cabinet. I have tried before. The air cleaners just barley fit. Your cost may vary... Widely.

Update time.
Image
I have been restoring little parts while waiting on the engine builder. He is going slow on this build. It maybe a little frustrating, but he is keeping me updated. He plans to have this on the run stand next week.

A couple of the bare block,

I have to get back to work on the car it's self. I need to finish up restoring the engine compartment and do the brakes. I can't wait to drive this next spring.

First off, my condolences for your Mom. I hope on that end of it you and your family are doing well. You will be in my prayers. Secondly, what a great find. Beautiful car.

Guitar74, Thanks. Mom is missed big time. I feel lucky to have found this Cougar.
I have finished the wheels, I think they look good.

It only took 7 months, but the engine for this car is now finished and home. It has had about an hour of run time on a run stand. I have a video of it running,

Here are some stills of it back in my shop.

I have a lot I need to get done to this car to get this in it. I will be posting updates more often.

Not sure how close your aiming to original so ignore if it doesn't apply bit the FoMoCo decal on the passenger side of the air cleaner isn't for your application . Its usage ended in about 1965

If you wanted to add a few look for the timing/emission sticker of the drivers side valve cover and the engine ID sticker - if they are making them and you don't want to make one yourself.

Again if I'm off base please ignore - just trying to help

Thank you. I have the emissions sticker. But have not done several of the details on the engine it's self. I have to find the engine ID decal still. I did not know about that one I put on the P. S. of the air cleaner. I thought I had seen one on a 71 before. Easy to remove. Thanks.

Checked with ESC and unfortunately looks like no one is making them commercially. Would go on the drivers side valve cover front face. Numbers would natch the ones on your (well some of them) aluminum engine ID tag attached to your engine

You likely did :( at a show somewhere. They often come in the kits people purchase and for some reason they believe that if they come in the kit they must need to go on my car somewhere
