Of course you want an Eliminator with a sunroof (well any Cougar really). List it here and cross your fingers!

Holley Carburetor - C8OF-9510-D

Post by fisherman74017 » 22 May 2017, 14:10

Looking for an original carb for my GT. I am looking for the complete carb. My dad and I are restoring one and the current carb, although Holley, is not correct.

PM me please.

I may have the carb that you need.. I think the choke is missing and front bowl is incorrect though(inlet is on passenger side). I can check it out tonight if you want. IIRC It was for a 68 390 GT automatic trans

I also have this carb - some info: Holley Carb – C8OF-9510-D , List 3796-1 with a date code of 994. Complete and Original carb for 1968 390 Mustang, Cougar or Fairlane with auto transmission. Has been on a running 1969 390 manual Cougar for the past 2 years. Had a recent cleaning and rebuild using blue, non-stick gaskets. Has the correct main body – 6R3059B, Primary Metering Block – 5554 with 64 jets and Secondary Metering Block – 4841 with 72 jets. This is a 600 cfm vacuum secondary 4150 carb. Choke works great. Currently set up with a white Accelerator pump cam, a #31 squirter and a 6.5 Power Valve. Idles and accelerates great. Reason for selling is I finally got my original Autolite 4300 carb replated and back on the car. If you want photos and more info email to bbsolsky@frontiernet.net
