WTB '69 hardtop

Of course you want an Eliminator with a sunroof (well any Cougar really). List it here and cross your fingers!

WTB '69 hardtop

Post by rpxr400 » 10 Feb 2019, 15:29

Looking for a 69 hardtop with a solid body - no rust and not loaded with bondo.
(prefer west coast car - ok if it needs paint, but priced accordingly)

Want a running, driving car (at least enough to get in on a trailer, if needed)

Want an a/c car - even if it doesn't work - but complete parts.

Not being particular picky, but some things I don't want
- red or saddle interior
- standard interior - and actually prefer decor over XR7
- paint
dark ivy green
pastel grey
any of the yellows

I'm watching CL nationally, as well as EBay and the bigger sites and a few FB pages.
Email me with what you have - up into the mid-teens

I'm in eastern PA, but will be willing to have the right car shipped.

I am looking as well with similar criteria. Where in eastern PA are you? I am in the Philly area.

PM me if you want and I can tell you what I am looking for and we can keep an eye out for each other. Good luck with your search!

Welcome! That is a well written request and this site is a good place to expand your search. Sites like mine are low turnover for cars for sale but some have done really well emailing sellers who posted months ago.

Here is one where he will throw in a dirt bik if you buy his xr7g!

Thanks, I have my eyes on your site, as well! I bought my 70 Comp Green Eliminator (since sold) from John Benoit off your site years ago.

I have been away from the Cougars for a bit - had a 72 Mustang ragtop I had to sell before I could start shopping again - but I'm still active in the club.
For some reason, I thought having a Mustang was better than having a Cougar. Lesson learned !!
