Eliminators on the Market (January 2018)

#1

Post by Mike_B_SVT » 07 Jan 2018, 01:50

Projects have made no progress since last month :-( Although I did get the carb sent off and restoration is in progress. Family was sick, so Dad was busting his behind around the house keeping things operating as smooth as possible. So I've been hunting parts and ordering parts for the remainder of my planned projects. Aaaand busy compiling Eliminator data, as always :-)

If you know of an Eliminator for sale or are looking for an Eliminator, please feel free to post here, or contact me. I'll do my best to help you find the Eliminator you are looking for, or help find a new home for your Eliminator, if possible. Send me a PM or email me directly at: EliminatorSearch@CougarClub.org

Also, be sure to check out the Eliminator Owners and Enthusiast group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/473220306059769/
You don't need to have a Facebook account or be a group member to browse!

Don't be shy about commenting or asking about a car in the list. Folks here are always happy to help answer questions or concerns.

Knew a guy several years ago with a 351 powered 70 Eliminator. We went back and forth on a price in relation to its condition. We never struck a deal. I recently text him to see if he still had it and he'd sold it a few years ago.

Thought I'd post a few photos.

Thanks Rich!

That one is 0F91M508425 - Competition Gold, Black Decor Interior, 351C-4V / FMX automatic.
It is with a new owner now, but still resides in Georgia last I heard (in 2015). At that time the owner was resolving rust issues and had the engine purring again.

I had a chance to buy that Eliminator a year ago for $25k this time last year. All original minus a repaint and I believe rear bumper. Ran strong, sounded good, well maintained. The original owner died just over a year ago, and then ownership was transferred to the gentleman I spoke with about the car. Mershon's likes to price their cars high, I've been there quite a few times since I used to live not too far from there. I don't know what they paid for it, but I bet there's a pretty nice markup on it.
