Can you put up a '71 schematic? I think we can look at it and find the wire that supplies power after the switch is shut off.
I do have one. But this afternoon they started parking correctly. Funny things happen with old cars.

Re: Wipers will not park...

Any place they want, basically where ever they are when I turn the switch to off. If I use the intermittent feature they will stop at the bottom of the travel though.

Re: Wow, Up beat Cloth and vinyl 100% original paint 71 XR7

Question; What does one do in Western Washington on a rainy day? The same as we would do on a sunny day, for the most part. I had an appointment to have the front aligned on this car today. So I had it towed in to town for that. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/954/26898326767_b8441e1981_k.jpg I have ...

Wipers will not park...

I am wrapping up the work on my 71 XR-7. It is going to town today for the front alignment. And as it is here in the great North Wet, itis raining. So I got the wipers on the car and tested them. They work except they do not park. I can live with this for a little while, but need to fix. I though th...

Re: Window Sticker Shock , what did your Cat(s) cost when new ?

Post by Blitz » 24 Apr 2018, 15:53 Also fun to calculate the equivalent price today with inflation. Apparently mine would be $28,688 in 2018 dollars. 7.0 Litre Kid's GT-E would be $44,854. Wow! Source: https://www.dollartimes.com/inflation/inflation.php So I checked my 2 that I have the window stic...

Re: Wow, Up beat Cloth and vinyl 100% original paint 71 XR7

It was a nice day here on the Moss and dandelion farm today; so I put time in on this Cougar again today. I got the hood on and adjusted, Hood bumpers adjusted. The under hood light hooked up and the washer plumbing installed, Center grill is now on and adjusted. I need to repair the XR-7 emblem as ...
