Wow, Hard to believe it has been a year... I know! It was such a great time :-) Was at the Hillsboro All Ford show today, and a few of us were chatting about there not being any West Coast "car tour" type of adventures to go on. They are a counter sunk sheet metal screw/ You can get a set from AMK, they are in kit #F-1027.

With the winning bidder having 0 feedback I wounder if it was a shill bidder. IE the seller trying to run the sales price up some. It also sold for about $15K less then the craigslist add was asking for.

The Marti Report will tell you how your car was originally configured. The console was a stand alone option on every 67-70 cougar trim level except the 68 XR7G. You could look at the transmission tunnel from under the car for the screw holes too. But that only tells you it had one at one time. But ...
