Re: New Opera Lights from WCCC

Mine have been back ordered for quite some time, and just received them yesterday. The chrome that surrounds the clear part of the lens is messed up, parts are white that should be chrome. And there's a number of dark spots on that inner chrome as well. The outside ring of chrome is fine. Anyone el...

Re: New Opera Lights from WCCC

Thanks for saying so!!! I really hope the enthusiasm remains at half the level as it has been this week as we have a PALLET full of them! We are going to be making a video to show how easy it is to install them on any 67-68 standard that did not come from the factory with them. Most folks do not kno...

They have been out of stock for months with no ETA when they will be back in stock. We decided not to wait.

Re: New Reproductions Are Here! Opera Lights, Cougar Emblems

It is really rewarding to offer "Spot On" parts like this. So far we have worked with five different companies to bring out about 30 new products and everyone of them has been of this quality. I was talking to someone in the industry last week about this and a couple of other parts. They just could ...

Re: What Reproductions Should Be Done Next?

How about chrome door trim for at 69 XR7. They are listed on my Marti report. I saw a set 5 or 6 years ago on EBay, passed on them and have never been able to find them anywhere. Those are in pretty low demand actually. Next time you make an order mention it and we will give you a free pair. Once w...

Re: WCCC Customer Investment Program, Need Input!

Don, probably a dumb question, but do you communicate with other vendors what reproductions you're working on? It would be disappointing to invest in a project and see another seller bring the same part to the market at the same time. Also, is it safe to assume WCCC would be the only supplier for a...

Re: What Reproductions Should Be Done Next?

Its not that there is any type of shortage on aluminum its just that there is low demand for the raw material of that quality in sheet form. Most raw stock is metric these days for one so when you are trying to do a "spot on" reproduction that is your first hurdle.

Re: What Reproductions Should Be Done Next?

Yes, we have the inside scoop with the right people, we just need capital to move forward. The floor mats are one of those things that just needs an infusion of investment capital. The tooling is done, the quality and price are already known, just need about $10-$12k to get the ball rolling. We are ...

Re: What Reproductions Should Be Done Next?

I was talking to a friend who worked at Fords between 1964 and 68. He said that he remembers working on the molds for the front fenders, since he was a machinist/die guy. I asked him what happened to all the old dies and he said Ford had a very large field that all this stuff got put in and just le...
