Re: Rear axle retaining bolts

Another thing to consider for the leak is that your axle vent is plugged. Pressure build up is forcing oil past the seal.

Re: Free LED headlights for three lucky people.

So I was thinking about this a bit more... And while the halo headlights look really cool... I'm thinking they are going to be REALLY hard to see on a car with hidden headlights, like ours >.>

Re: Red GT-E - Mecum Indy - May 2018

I'm asking because I recall reading a post by the the guy that did the swapping / rebody work. I think it was over on the MC.net forum, and would have been years ago. I just wan...

Re: 70 Lower dash restoration help

Scott, I did some quick searches here and found the following threads that should have a ton of useful info for you... Steve O restored his '70 not too long ago and documented darn near everything. While his is not an Eliminator, a lot of the details, tips and tricks will probably be useful. Interio...

Re: Hood scoops - model or option based?

So what about the '69 with the "351 Performance Package" option? I thought those came with hood scoops as well? Rare option, I know. I don't think they did. When I was working for Don back in about 2004 he had a convertible with that option and it had no scoop. Now, I thought there were 2 "levels" ...

Re: Eliminators on the Market (August 2018)

Legit eliminator? https://www.oldcaronline.com/1969-Mercury-Cougar%20Eliminator-ERSKINE-Minnesota-for-sale-ID851852.htm That looks like a sweet deal! When was the last time you saw a mostly solid, "driver" condition Eliminator for under $20k? Been a few years now. I bet this one is sold by the end ...
