I am sure that it costs $41K to restore one nicely. What it sells for is what the buyer pays the seller. Two different things IMHO. Very rare and desirable '67 4 speed 6.5 Litre car. Only drawback in my mind is the lack of factory air.

The thing is, if you started with a real unrestored 351 Eliminator the unrestored price is only slightly higher than a standard Cougar. When the car is finished it will have cost exactly the same as a standard Cougar converted to an Eliminator clone. The difference being a real one will be worth mor...

I think the hoses go through the firewall with no grommets. Where did you get those?

If you used '68 standard foam pads then you would be OK. The '68 seats use a similar frame other than the seat back locking, but there is more padding in the '68.

The laws of supply and demand say yes. Eliminators command more money and sell easier than non - Eliminators. This is why you see so many clone or wanna - be Eliminators. Those cars might fool the unaware, but not at resale time.

Those aluminum strips replaced the original cardboard strips which were too rotten to re - use. The last two days were spent installing the headliner. It is a lot of tedious but simple work. Anywhere a screw went through the headliner I installed screws in the car before installing the headliner to ...
