Was digging in some parts this weekend to find some fasteners and came across this vin tag from a 68 Cougar I parted out years ago. It had screws to the vin tag. It was a standard with a three speed.

I ended up with .124” I think the minimum you want is .080” to .100” I had enough material to work with on top of the piston to get to that number without any concerns. I cc the piston before & after and then adjusted it with the head gasket thickness.

I have dished top with AFR 205 heads with 58cc chamber running 10.5 compression. Cam lift is .688' exh & .715 Int

You need the piston jig in order to fly cut them accurate in a mill. Most machine shops don't have one because they're expensive and don't get enough use to pay for it. Try to find a racing shop they would most likely have the setup. Where are you located? I have a local sprint car racing shop that ...

With Halloween coming in a couple weeks it would be cool to cruise around in this. Would have to add a couple exhaust leaks so it sounded right.

p-side by trunk hinge. Put your finger into the hole where the white arrow shows and push in on the white button to reset.

Get the super glue out and glue it back together. Getting to be a hard item to find.
