Color/paint code/picture

After seeing FordBlue asking for an example of a paint color got me thinking. Now that TCCN site is down and that is where I use to check paint colors and codes. A thread with just the paint color name, paint code and an example would be helpful. So, in order to post in this thread put the paint col...

Re: Heater core

The shop manual will tell you all the steps. If you don't have AC the job isn't to bad. There are nuts on the firewall that hold the housing in place. Remove the glove box and unhook hoses and cables and you can pull it out from under the dash. Inspect the cowl (air intake area) for rust issues. Buy...

Re: The long voyage of the family boat

I can relate to the Detroit diesel. We had a forage harvester in the 70's with a 671 supercharged detroit. One heck of a bark! when we were doing corn running it hard (no lie) you could hear it three mile away. Blew it up once by punching a rod thru both sides of the block. Here is a link to one like...

Re: The long voyage of the family boat

Wow cool story! I wouldn't know where to even start to restore a boat like that let alone do it twice. The 3208 cat is a very good durable engine I'm sure you will be happy with it. We had several of them in tractors on the farm. Even had one catch on fire and got so hot it started to melt the alum ...

Re: Never seen before xr7-G auto show pics

From what I could make out in my large G picture. The front lower fender emblem says "Gurney" in the chrome area and a red block in front with the "G" (Gurney G). The rear marker has the running Cougar emblem over it. Some close up pic's that Phil did. Thanks for the pictures Jon.
