Re: Intellitronics Gauges and Carbon Fiber Dash

Update. During this wet coast weather I took advantage and decided to work on the digital gauges. Here is the progress.

Re: WCCC LED taillight bulbs worth their weight in gold!

Well here in the North Wet.... I mean North West, it won't stop raining! I have the vinyl off and the roof sanded down to metal and been waiting to drive it down to my work to do a little welding on it.

Re: 67 Cougar tail lights

Shouldn't do as it sounds like it is working properly until you use the headlight switch. Headlight swiitches are prone to cause issues when they go bad.

Re: 67 Cougar tail lights

Welcome. Best group of guys here with lots of knowledge of these cars.

I had the exact same issue with my 69 XR7 and turned out to be a faulty headlight switch. Once replaced, it solved my issue.

Re: WCCC LED taillight bulbs worth their weight in gold!

I did these ones in my last 67 and 69 and never again. When you hit the brake the sequence once and never work 100%. I guess I have to remember that they were cool at the time considering the technology 10 years ago.

Do the LED bulbs require any changes to the stock system or are they a direct replacement?
Totally a direct replacement.

Nice. FYI. Next time try the Hazards. You could have done a side by side comparison without going back and forth.
:)
My hazards only light up the center bulb on either side otherwise I would of done that.

WCCC LED taillight bulbs worth their weight in gold!

Just got these from Don at WCCC and posted a video of the difference. Very impressed and I have installed those custom LED boards from the other guys twice in the past. A definite 2 thumbs up from me on this cheap and easy safety upgrade.

Re: One for Don Rush or does anyone else have info on these?

Well the belt is now in the possession of Don Rush and will be on the wall behind him for all to see. If anyone finds out any more info on them we would all love to know. I figured it was better sending it to someone who can share with the Cougar community instead of it sitting in a box in my garage...
