Re: Esmerelda's Playdate...

I just have a soft spot for the 70 Chevelles, because my first car was a 70 Chevelle Coupe and always wanted an SS Convertible. I do think I made the right choice though.

Re: Esmerelda's Playdate...

Looks like a great day out. That is a nice 71 or 72 Chevelle SS convertible too. I was looking for a 70 Chevelle SS convertible when I found my 70 XR7 convertible.

If reproductions are going for $800 on Ebay, what are originals worth?

Congratulations, very nice car and an interesting story to go with it. I was always a big fan of Paul Harveys storys on the radio.

I posted this last night, but it disappeared overnight. We'll see if it sticks this time.

Sorry, Rear is 25.68 inches
Front 26.59 inches
Lower in the back than the front? Boo! Hiss!
Exactly, which is why I want to order leaf springs that will change that.

Re: Need help with OEM radio 5-pin ROUND connector

From the part number on the side, the first 2 characters D0 indicate that it is a 1970 radio. If you are looking to sell it, I might be interested.
