Re: 70 eliminator

The more I got into the car the worse it got. Not as good a deal as everyone thought, including me. It is now being parted. There is really no good sheet metal other than the hood, roof, rear window. Some of the front grille is okay. The tailight bezels where both missing bars. Set of core high back...

Re: Power Steering Hose Routing

Don needs to update those pictures. Not having the hoses lay alongside the control valve with a special clamp for keeping them pulled down will cause the hoses to eventually break. In addition the rubber insulator was designed to hold the hoses from moving back and forth. The hoses Don has in those ...

Neal - if the guy needs a short block send him my way. This eliminator still has it's short block. It will need a bunch of work. Hopefully it can be saved.

Re: 70 eliminator

Yes, it now resides at Cascade Classics. This car is very rough. It is not something we would consider restoring. Obviously the value to me was in the parts. It will be parted out unless someone wants a very intense project. Rusty floors, rusty trunk, rusty battery apron, Hood hinges pulled out of r...

Re: Best Eliminator Color?

Thought I would revive this old thread now that I found the only known 1970 special paint Red Eliminator. 428CJ auto with a long list of options. Was sitting in a barn in Texas for over 35 years. Originally sold at Southwest Lincoln Mercury in Houston, TX. Hoping to work it into the restoration sche...

Re: Close out on all 69-70 parts

Hi John Would you happen to have a usable 70 XR7 drivers interior door panel? I’m restoring a 70 convertible that has a med. blue interior with crank windows but I’m missing that door panel. Even something usable that I could dye would be great. Please let me know thanks Sorry nothing at this time.
