Hey Lou!
I'm looking for something a little higher rise than the performer. But thanks for the response.

Re: Fuel injection and 4V heads in 351C

The 4v heads are fine. If you're after performance, they're what you want.

Stock m-code engines make 350 lbs of torque around 2500 rpm or so with a performance cam, with plenty of dyno sheets and recommended builds.

They be bop around in traffic and do all the stuff people do with cars.

Fascinating.

Sounds like a Torino Cobra engine and shaker.

Re: Faster! 70' land speed and time trials build.

So, 3 of the Clevelands I've bought for cores have shown porosity and core shift. Good for a resto car that does car show duty, but not so much for my purposes. Sent them down the road with new owners. I guess I'll wait and see how the Cleveland blocks turn out that Tmeyer is having cast from Tod Bu...

Re: Faster! 70' land speed and time trials build.

Found a great video with nearly the exact same dent being pulled using a doodad lever thing. Very educational.

Might pick up one of those stud lever things. Looks handy.

Re: Fire Extinguisher / Mounting

I just put stuff like that on my biannual maintenance list. I have to service my zero turn mower and generator twice a year. so I include all the fire extinguishers in that. It also helps to use one, if you haven't, to put out a fire made from Class A and B fuels, just to get a feel for what it's li...

Re: Rain gutter attached roof rack system?

Yeah, the more I think about it, the less I want to do it.

Hitches are actually off the shelf items, and you can tow a fair amount of weight.

Re: Fire Extinguisher / Mounting

Once had a weird fuel line leak from a loose clamp and another had a burst ps line spray the engine down with fluid and smoke like crazy. Anyway, after those incidents I got an extinguisher, mounted it in the passenger side just below the console (so I could reach it if the car flipped and I was bel...
