Re: Brake master residual valve

Hi Leon. I still have original booster/master placement on LHS of engine bay (our passenger side) so was able to use mustang master with outlets to fender side (ie standard configuration).

Re: Originality vs arning drop?

Thanks for the honest feedback everyone. Really easy to get caught up in the originality thing and forget why I actually bought it in the first place - driving!

Originality vs arning drop?

Hello all. I’m having a minor episode of hand-wringing and would appreciate your input. For handling and aesthetics I want to do the arning drop but given this is a 428 I’m pausing to consider if this is irresponsible given it will deviate from original (not that it couldn’t be welded up later if so...

Re: Brake master residual valve

By way of update I have the new master in now and have bled the brakes all round. Still getting some very fine bubbles at the wheels, I’m wondering if air getting through bleeder threads, or (more likely) air through distribution block. I say more likely as I found some dampness when I removed the w...

Re: Have you driven your Cougar today?

Steve thank you for the compliment. I really like the end result of the wheel, tire, and suspension combination. The fronts are 15 x 7 with 4.25" back space (Wheel Vintiques) Magnum 500 with 235 60 BF Goodrich tires, rear are 15 x 8 with 4.5" back space (Wheel Vintiques) Magnum 500 with 245 60 BF G...

Looks great Leon. I love getting the little details back to original. Might be time for another order from WCCC...
Can relate about the underhood paint, I have the ‘patina’ from what appears to be a battery explosion

Re: Underhood light wiring details

Agree, nothing else those clips could be used for. Second clip would put it roughly above brace as well for the run to the solenoid? Although looking at it would almost put the clip/wire where the seal to the scuttle would seat. Does the vert have a whole for the clip in the same spot Edit. Can see ...

Here is a picture of the Eliminator from last weekend's local cruise in. The photographer Russ Muller does a great job. Definitely better than I could ever do. https://classiccougarcommunity.com/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=8118 Bryan your eliminator looks amazing. Love the paint and the st...
