Since we removed the air conditioning unit with the new engine... I've been wanting to create something to hold the fuel filter... and generally cover up the empty bolt holes from where the air conditioner used to be. Today I did that. Quick question: We're still trying to track down the problem with the headlights and when we move the OVERIDE BUTTON the headlights go up. When we move it back... they go down. That indicates a vacuum leak somewhere in the system. You can isolate it by plugging lines to the headlight motors until it stops making the sound. ssava and CoogaFan, did either of you have a hissing sound when the headlight switch was in the off position? That's funny... another similar vent hose is on the left rear axle. We wasted time figuring it out like you and it just goes upwards behind the rear seat and just stopped like it was cut off.
