Re: Header recommendations for 351-2V

Hey 207, here is my FPA headers on my 351C 4V 70 eliminator. They are about flush with front subframe rails and the trans pan, they are hooked up to 2.5 inch stainless steel magna flow exhaust system.

+1 on FPA headers, spendy but good USA built quality.

Re: '68 Front Discs with spacers?

I have to use some 1/4 inch spacers on my 66 Fairlane to clear the ball joint with 14 inch rubber. Seems to work fine I have several thousand miles of use on them. A 66 lane would be the same as a 67 mustang front suspension.

Re: 1969 Factory Air

I have used a original air kit on a 70 torino was very happy with it. Now on my 70 eliminator I am going the same route here is the kit I got but not installed yet. https://www.originalair.com/69-70-musta ... r-brackets

Re: 70 manual drum to disc upgrade

You can get that kit today at summit for $550 with discount https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wil- ... del/cougar
They work well just make sure the calipers are on the front side of the spindle, I have used several of these wilwood kits and have no complaints.
