Tom your on the rite track , I didn't use any sealant on mine. But I think its a good idea to use Loctite.

Funny sign

I had my 70 eliminator FMX tranny rebuilt by a retired ford mechanic, did it for $750 and looks great. I went an picked it up today and here is a sign on his shop. :D

If your pulling out the front coil springs might as well put new ones in and shocks and possibly the shock tower reinforcement plates.
