Re: I never thought

Why a Subaru? My oldest graduated at 16. Went to small Bible college in Montana. Class mates laughed at the Subaru I let him take. They weren’t laughing so much when they were paying for gas and dinners etc. Because he had the only car to get up and down the hill when it snowed. Also at the time. I ...

Re: I don't get it...

I have a lot going on. Don’t post much. But I appreciate the info I find! I can fire up the car and drive. I’m pretty sure I could part it out, the interior and other parts for more than what I paid. Just because we don’t post a lot. Don’t discount me. I rescued a cat. Honestly I don’t where I’m goi...

Re: I never thought

The winter was rough. A way above average snow year and we got slammed. Fast forward and we are on to Kelly and Ed 2.0. Haven’t done anything with the Colonel except take it out and drive on weekends and occasionally to work. I had to redo the head gaskets on my Subaru in May. Mechanic wanted $2100....

Re: Suspension questions

Let’s talk front end.

Any good links or info in steering linkage, control arms. Trouble shooting repairing etc?

How to check. How to tell what’s
Good or bad?

Thanks

Re: 67/68 Shock Replacement Recommendations

I’m interested to here your thoughts on renending springs as well. Have a reputable place that does it. But would like more input.

Trying to search the forum for info is futile at times.

Reno - Hot August nights

Was down there last night running errands

Saw a cougar a lane over and 2 cars ahead.

It was dark. But looked a greenish color. First 3 letters. Web.

Anybody here in town?

Going to try and get down on Saturday.

If your here. Come visit. Message me!

Re: Burned on carbon need help or ideas

Thanks for the input. I can’t use anything under high pressure. I cant have crud flying all over high end deck / built in grill with stone work. We’re talking homes over 1.5 million on up to and above $50 million. Service and repair is part of my business. Igniter piece from factory was $85. Was jus...

Re: Burned on carbon need help or ideas

Thanks for the ideas. I need something portable that won’t make a mess.

Working on $1200 - $7000 built in or cart grills etc. Can’t make a big mess.

Looking for a cleaner degreaser in can or bottle. Plus your experience with it.

Thanks

Re: To Paint or Not To Paint

This is paint over original paint. Looks good from 20 - 30 feet. It’s a survivor. Needs a bit of body work as well. But people like it when the see it.

I really need to post the semi ugly parts.
