Suspension questions

Are there any good links for front end suspension how to links.

I’ve got bad wheel hip on the rear end. Shocks feel ok. I think the leaf springs need to be rebent it’s got that cougar higher in the front than the rear issue.

Thanks

Ed

Re: Gettin' old

Having watched to many war movies with my dad.

We would throw the lawn darts up in the air, run then throw ourselves on the ground yelling incoming! Covering our heads with hands.

I had one land 6 inches from my head. That was the last time we did that.

Quick question on head gasket

I’d rather be wrenching on the Cougar. But it’s my 06 Impreza with 245,000 miles! Exterior head gasket failure. It still runs strong! My question is. Should I coat cylinder walls above the pistons with a thin coat of oil before installing the heads or don’t worry about it? Just lots of brake cleaner...

Re: I never thought

My wife is here! Breast cancer on the minor side. Still consults to go through and then compare and constrast. No Chemo thankfully! Just radiation therapy. Here or back down in the Bay Area? So thankful for friends in this transition difficulty. Oh yes the Cougar fires up and runs just as always!

Re: 68 Rusto-Cat-Restoration

Mine was purchased in Virginia DC area.

I got it from a one owner family. His dad was a Air Force Colonel. Got transferred to California.

So possibly military. Philly had has(?) a naval station there.

I don't miss the east coast.

Re: Radio antenna removal and hole repair

I need to replace the antenna on mine as well.

I prefer just getting in driving and enjoying the sound of the engine and the road.

I know the radio turns on but thats about it at the moment!
