Re: heater plenum drain size

There is about 1/4 - 3/8 inch left where the tube broke. There was no drain hose. Looked at some photos - just cannot tell the lenght.

I want to repair the broken A/C drain stem. How long is it (fully intact) outside the lower housing? For my 69 XR7 with A/C.

speedometer repair/restoration

The speedometer in my 69 XR7 (351W 4V/FMX) needs repair/restoration. The needle bounces and the odometer does not turn. The speedometer cable clip was broken at the gauge. Would that be the cause of the needle bounce or stuck odometer? The only other issue is the worn numbers on the Trip Meter. Will...

Power Window Relay Harness Wire Gauge

I am going through the wire harnesses on my 1969 XR7. I wanted to know what the correct wire gauge was for both the Blue and Red PW Relay Harness. I currently have a light gray 10/12 AWG and a red 16/18 AWG. Not sure if this is correct.

Re: Bulkhead connector removal

Figured it out. It was in need of a little love tap with the prongs depressed.

Bulkhead connector removal

I want to remove the bulkhead connector from the firewall in the engine compartment. Cannot tell how it is mounted. Before I break something I figured I should get some input from everyone here. The Interior fuse block is disconnected and out of the car. This is in my 1969 XR7.

Re: Primer and seam sealer

The two gaps I inserted the screw drivers into are not rusted out holes. They are formed into the other floor panel and are the same on both sides. The gap is roughly 1/4" and nearly 1" long. Perhaps a replacement pan was installed that does not fit right?

Re: Primer and seam sealer

Do the two openings (indicated with the screw drivers) remain open for drainage or do they need to be filled with seam sealer?
