What I found curious was the fact that it matched perfectly to the WCCC switch, which worked off the car ...

Re: No brake Lights

Royce

I did not know we could still get the Motorcraft part. My experience has been with Healeys where we have no such availability. I will order the part tonight, for $20 it's worth a try.

Thank you

Jano-0

Thank you. I will try the fuse and holder tomorrow though my problem seems to be the switch not connecting when I step on the brake pedal. I will report back.

Re: No brake Lights

The switch is Scott Drake C9vy-13480-A and indicates correct for lamp switch W/PWR Dic. I replaced the power brake rod bushing with a new one. On the mount from the pedal I was able to use only one plastic washer, also new. There was no way to use both and get the clip on. All parts were purchased f...

No brake Lights

'68 XR7 Jumped wiring to brake lights and all is good. Put in new brake pedal switch, correct switch for power disc brakes, pig tail from switch to connector checks out. So I'm left back at the switch - new - and get nothing when I step on the pedal - no ohms no continuity. Any thoughts, help, sugge...

Re: no turn signal right side

Alex thank you. It turns out the issue was at the turn switch connector. The white/blue wire was not completely seated to the purple wire. Easy fix and very inexpensive. So if you reading this thread be sure to check all the connector pins.

Re: no turn signal right side

Thanks TomKat. It's a 68 XR7 and the link you suggested seems to somewhat agree:
"If there is no power on the purple and orange/green wire, the turn signal switch may be bad"

no turn signal right side

The right side turn indicator has no lights at all. Front is dead as well as rear. The is no light at the indicator also. Tried the flashers same result. I do have lights when the headlights are turned on. I checked for power to purple wire in the trunk and there is none. Am I correct in wanting to ...

Dave

I was talking about the exterior surfaces but appreciate your input. Sounds like you did a much more complete refurbishment than I plan on doing but now I thinking "Maybe just a little more detail". Thanks again.
