I bought muscle car magazines back in the mid 80's before I could drive. I came across an article about a 1968 Cougar and I loved the looks. Since then I have owned 7 Cougars. 4 67s, 2 68s and one crappy 71 vert.

My question is this...Shouldn't both actuators be installed so that the hose barbs are TOWARD the firewall to avoid being pinched under the buckets during operation? If so, I assume that I must now remove the passenger side bucket to rotate the actuator (ugh...). I have suffered some blood loss in ...
