Re: 67/68 Shock Replacement Recommendations

According to the popular vote, it's looking like the KYB 344052(AMC/AMX) rear shocks are the way to go. I looked at the Eaton shocks, but $485 with shipping is a mind blowing price for front and rear non-adjustable shocks. Does anybody have a recommendation for what would be a good set of front shoc...

Re: Car cover

My wife got me an OVER DRIVE by Classic Accessories car cover on Amazon for $28.70. A Full Size Sedan Style PolyPRO 1 version. Not a bad deal at all. It is weather proof and comes freeze dried. I thought the thing looked too big but it fits perfectly. I am using it in the garage strictly to protect ...

Re: Thermostat housing leak

I replaced the entire cooling system this past Spring/Summer. I didn't have any problems until I parked the car for the season. Now I noticed a slight leak at the housing. Gotta love it. :wall:

I didn't do a stainless, but I did strip off the woodgrain and paint the panels instead. I didn't feel the woodgrain worked with the rest of the custom rod flavor that the rest of the car was going in.

67/68 Shock Replacement Recommendations

I'm looking to replace the shocks on my 68 Vert. I don't want super stiff shocks that feel every pebble on the road and I don't want my cat bouncing all over the place either. I was thinking maybe Koni or KYB. I am requesting recommendations from the Cougar Community. Tell me what you are running on...

I liked the video. It's good to see the Mercury Cougar get the proper respect that it deserves. Thumbs up!
