Re: Chrome Plating original styled steel wheels

The only problem with the new wheels is, lately they've been coming out wobbly right from the factory. WCCC has refused a couple pallets of them, after testing them one by one. Re: Thoughts on A/C system

Good questions, and I'm in almost the exact same boat as you. So... I have no useful advice but I'll be watching this thread. Re: 1967 XR-7 Dan Gurney Special on BaT - CA Black Plate Survivor - No Reserve

Last day today, about 3 hours left as I write this, and it's currently at a respectable $22k. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Re: Ebay XR7G or not?

Almost certainly a tribute car. Looks like a pretty nice driver though. Too bad they ruined the LH dash panel, and the console face pad by putting holes in them for accessories. Not sure if the sunroof is factory or not, the switch under the ashtray isn't right. Looks factory from the topside though...

Re: 1968 Quarter Panel Red Reflector placement / direction???

I don’t know for sure, but based on how haphazard the factory workers were, I highly doubt there’s a rule for which way they go.

Re: The Snowball Saga - '68 Standard Revitalization Project

Thanks guys! On the overheating issue, I put a new temperature sending unit in that showed overheating. It was hot to the touch but not scalding like I expected which was confirmed according to an infrared thermometer. It was a big block car but I think they all use the same unit. Might be something...

Re: 69 Custom Grille Replacement Project

Good idea indeed! My only thought with the electric conversion was to unplug the headlight bulbs if I needed to open the doors to service them.

Where's that crack video guy you have on staff? Couldn't he fix this or should I send you my resume, Don? :D
And this is why Don can't be trusted to post his own pictures...
