Re: Everything you wanted to know about '67 Sequential Signals
Looking for some guidance. 67 Std Cougar, non-tilt wheel. I found the dash harness was butchered up a bit after buying this car. Also, the TS indicator lights on the dash were on whenever the key was on. No blinking. But outside lights all work properly. The yellow wire was jumped across the TS conn...

Steering column to firewall seal
Drawn out steering column project on my 67 Std. Non tilt column. On reassembly that rubber seal that slips over the tube and secures to the firewall tore on me :wall: Reading reviews on this part leads me to believe this is common. Can anyone offer any tips on getting the seal on without tearing it?...

Re: Steering wheel replacement
Well, that project blossomed! What started out as a steering wheel replacement turned into replacing the wiring from the dash forward, and everything heater related. Crawling under the dash isn't as easy as it was 20 years ago, lol. Two questions I have during reassembly, seat belt warning light. I ...

Re: Gauge cluster foam seals
Thanks for the replies! I was not able to locate the open cell? foam like the original. I did find some squishy closed cell? foam sheets I'm trying. I missed the offer to call WCCC before getting the foam I have. I did order a heater seal kit to try the foam in it for the gauge cluster. I do like th...

Gauge cluster foam seals
Working on replacing the under dash harness on my 67 STD. While the dash is apart I am installing LED lights in gauge cluster. While cleaning and working on the cluster I noticed the foam seals for the various lights and switches are in bad shape. I have poked around on WCCC, NPD, MU, CJPP and searc...

Is this even possible?
Just ran door tag on my 67 I've been fighting the steering wheel swap in. 289 4v I knew from vin, but door tag sure looks like an I, that decodes to a 4.11 locker and a c4 auto?
I really want to get under and take a closer look at what I have now!

Re: Steering wheel replacement
Well, column is out of the car, torn down except for the turn signal switch. I'm stuck. Don, thank you for verifying that drawing isn't correct. I was just going off what was different between shop manual and what I had on my column. Before I removed column, I set spring in place and knew wheel woul...

Re: Steering wheel replacement
I have correct nut and missing spring on order. Will this spring, when installed, help keep the wheel from binding up? Or should I be looking at something else also? You will need to find something else. As I recall the spring goes between the steering wheel and the chrome horn part on the 67 wheel...
