Re: 68XR7 driver dash Bezel and 67xr7 passenger side issues?

The 67 and 68 XR7 passenger side bezels are identical, except for the metal mounting bracket(s) on the back. 67 XR7 uses five separate metal brackets, whereas the 68 XR7 uses a single integrated metal bracket which is much stronger/better. So the answer is yes, the bezel will work just fine. EDIT: D...

Re: Extension hole plug

Thanks to desertdave55 :beerchug: for setting me up with a replacement column to mine for parts! It's from a Mustang and, aside from color, is identical. One difference I've noted, though, is that the column extension has a plug (377977-S) in the attachment screw access hole: ColumnExtensionPlug.JP...

Re: What do we believe in?

I believe that the Speed Control System option is inherently dangerous, and the turn signal stalk actuator should unexpectedly self-destruct to avert a disaster.

I might have an interesting option for you, PM sent.

Not to fill large areas of course, but after panels have been welded or dents have been bumped out, what do you find is best for getting a nice smooth finish that doesn't absorb water or moisture. They advertise some that have metal, ot...

Re: 67-68 XR-7 A/C Dash Panel Set

Thanks for the information. Why are they more desirable and how can you tell the years apart? I can't answer to the 'more desirable' factor (but I"m certainly not going to second-guess Bill!), but these are the differences I'm aware of between 67/68 XR7 dashes: 1) Trip odometer reset button is diff...

Re: No oil in filter?

Purolater L30001. Basically the same type a Fram PH8 I asked about the Fram since they seem to have the absolute lowest rating of any oil filter. I was guessing that you had a defective bypass valve in your oil filter. But after googling around a bit.....I don't think that explains why you had sooo...
