Re: My slow-build '67
I found some Procar Classic headrest seats on Craigslist for a good price, so decided to try them out. They came with the adapter brackets as well. They are in new condition. My first thoughts, meh. They are hard as a rock, I’m not sure if they’ll break in over time or not (anyone have any feedback ...

Re: Old actuators worth anything?
Any further input on old actuators? Mine are just wasting space on my workbench with the hoses/clips/solenoid. I haven't removed the old tank yet, but will once I stop being lazy.

Re: Show us your diecast Cougar!
Cool! I picked that one a couple of months ago at the grocery store. They also had a stack of the 50th anniversary Cougar ones as well. It seems the Cougar Hot Wheels are unloved around here. When they had the Redline versions, they were eventually clearanced out so I bought a punch of them to repai...

Re: 67/68 Side Stripe question
Here are a couple more detail shots showing the taper in the middle, and how they finished the ends. I could do without the vertical portion of the stripe, but it’s ok.

Re: My slow-build '67
I fear I may be nearing the end of the road with the Cougar. It's a fun car, and I've enjoyed it, but my wandering thoughts can never stay planted with one vehicle for too long. Three years is nearly miraculous for me. My son will be taking a "learn to ride" dirt bike class at the end of the month. ...

Re: My 68 Grill Restoration
That looks really great. The faded decals and paint on mine definitely need a refresh.
I converted from the vacuum actuators, so I need to finish up with the alignment on mine, my outer grills are still pretty wonky.

Re: Replacement interiors
I’ve nearly given up on oem style parchment comfort weave. Heck, I’ve nearly given up on regular old parchment. I think unlike most here, I’d consider myself a casual enthusiast. I appreciate those of you that are the gate keepers of all things Cougar. I’m guessing I’ll be going with a less expensiv...
