Re: '69 Interior Project - Some Progress

Those tires and wheels look good enough as if you're going to run that combo. What do you have on the front and have you had a fender on to check for clearance? Do you know the backspacing of the front wheels? We have a '69 w/stock suspension and I've got a spare 15X8 wheel w 4 1/4" b.s. and can't f...

Re: '69 Interior Project - Some Progress

I've been making slow progress. I think my new hobby is door glass alignment. I seem to be working on it every evening for the past week or so but I think its about as good as it can get now. Put some duct insulation on the floors and doors. IMG_0029.jpg The new windshield is in finally. I've been p...

Re: '69 Interior Project - Some Progress

New weatherstrip for the doors this time. The reproductions fit very good and should work much better than the original stuff that was still on the car. I did cheat a little and use a rattlecan to finish up the inside of the doors and parts of the door jambs just to save some time. IMG_0017.jpg Star...

Re: '69 Interior Project - Some Progress

Thanks Neal and Jeff. I should have it back on the road by the end of the year. I want to get the windows tinted since I have a black interior and no A/C. I figure its better to do the rear one before I put it back in the car. I tried doing it myself and found out its not as easy as it looks on yout...
