Re: Found R-Code 1968 Cougar Today

This whole thread was a fascinating study of human and car-guy interaction. I'm glad I didn't get involved in any kind of consortium, but only from a buying perspective, lol. I still say there are a ton of guys here that I'd go into business with..But then again we all know that even the best of int...

Re: Found R-Code 1968 Cougar Today

This car and project is too big for my britches, that's for sure. I kind of like the idea of KTL or Greg Taylor taking it on with an investment consortium form the Cougar Community. "Stock/Shares" if you will. 4-5 folks each pitching in $15-20K at first, with (likely, depending on how progress goes ...

Re: Found R-Code 1968 Cougar Today

Well this will sure be a fascinating story and car to watch. It already has been thus far.. ;) As far as this Ebay auction goes..If more than one guy is really wanting it and knows what it's going to take to get it restored, there's not going to be much difference between paying 15k or 40K..Because ...

Re: Two more 68 Convertibles have surfaced

The Lucas Hovis Green and White one at the bottom was recently bought by a fellow who showed it on a Cougar Facebook group. He paid a lot for it, and said the construction bill was over 80K. And that was quite a few years ago, I imagine? I believe it!

That's a great page, thanks for sharing :)

Re: Cascade Cougar Club Prowl 2018. Tacoma WA

I feel kind of terrible how I'm such a poor Cascade Club member! I've been in denial about The Prowl this year, but really hope I can get into it and escape with a car of some sort. It is frustrating how the Summer goes bye so fast, and I've simply got to cut down on the other hobbies, lol. My Brothe...

Re: WCCC open house 2018

I have two door glasses, one rear Q glass, and two wing windows ready to be installed by any experts who want to help me finish off a '67 GT Saturday night, lol.. I've failed miserably on having the car ready to go, but we can start her up and listen and throw the back seat in and go for a drive wi...

Re: 13k Miles

When I restored my '68 GT-E the mileage was at 73,xxx and I bought a nice clean replacement speedo/odo and bezel and had to wind it for about 2 hours by hand to get it around to that mileage again, lol. Totally worth it.
