Re: The Snowball Saga - '68 Standard Revitalization Project

All the hard work (and re-work) is paying off: Snowball looks great!

(And I'm happy to see you included pinstripes.)

Re: New addition to the fleet '68 XR-7 4 speed w AC!

A '68 XR-7 with 4-speed is the car that hooked me on Cougars. Of course, it was a blue-ish rust bucket in northern NJ -- in 1978! -- so it's long gone. Alas, I may have a perfect candidate but, like Can68, don't possess the skills. Suppose they are available locally... maybe it's time to get back after this project.

Re: Yellowtop coil & lead wire "gee whiz"

Thanks for the response, Royce. I may have been unclear - I meant the primary from coil to distributor, just a single wire. I've only found these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/302419083586/?vectorid=229466&item=302419083586%2F&rmvSB=true https://www.ebay.com/itm/132423302033?vectorid=229466&item=1324233...

Yellowtop coil & lead wire "gee whiz"

My Cougar has been having some emission problems and I decided -along with some other things- to work on the ignition system. I'm Ok with giving the honor to Melissa & Ray. My Cougars are a live and well and can compete another month. There Cougar will soon be parted out and not compete as it is again.
