Re: Car cover

I have a California Car Cover as well but it's the Dustop model since I'm indoors.

Re: Thermostat housing leak

Fords are notorious for leaking there. Usually the cheap chrome aftermarket versions are the worst. But I've also had the O-Ring version leak as well. Best luck I've had is an original cast iron with a Fel-Pro gasket.

Personally, IMO, ANY leaking is bad because it's not supposed to.

Re: Custom cluster panel bezel in '68 XR7

I didn't do a stainless, but I did strip off the woodgrain and paint the panels instead. I didn't feel the woodgrain worked with the rest of the custom rod flavor that the rest of the car was going in.

Just some examples: The three feet of rubber fuel line to convert the original Buick V6 to the Small Block...

Re: Cover or garage

...One stall is reserved for my wife's car. What would you do? Daily drivers do not belong in garages. They go out every day, why do they need to be inside at night? Full disclosure: on snowy mornings I clean off the wife's truck. Garages are for projects (automotive & household), storage of classi...

Re: Toggle switch function....

It's supposed to light up the interior lights under the dash near the kick panels. Perhaps when yours was retrofitted, that connection was never completed.
