Several 67/68 grade "B" hoods for sale

Not perfect by usable with a few hours of work. Several to choose from. $350 to $500. I also have a perfect, yes perfect, Nordic Blue painted GT-E hood. It is drilled for the factory scoop but no power dome included. It is wearing show quality paint. $1800.

Re: Perfect Circle Cruise Setup

The on off switch appears to be a 69 as it has the pebble grain texture. Was this dealer installed or factory? To get premium dollar the wand has to be mint. The wand is the Achilles heel of the system. I have two of these switches off known 68 cars that are exactly like the one shown. Is there a d...

Re: GT-E Parts build in batches?

My experience is different with 3rd members. The Shelbys. 427 Fairlanes and other exotic HP cars have been noted to have SPEC in the place of the date code. I have a 68 GT 350 that has this same SPEC case and 31 spline rear end. What is the date code for you original GTE(s)?

1968 parts car

Not much left of it except the disk brakes, nice roof, glass and some trim. $600. 800|600|2018|3834.jpg 800|600|2018|3835.jpg 800|600|2018|3836.jpg 800|600|2018|3840.jpg 800|600|2018|3839.jpg The deck lid is missing since these photos were taken. The car is a J code XR-7 with a clear Ohio title. I h...

Robert, the red GT-E that I own was also built on 15C, and the VIN is 550786. I’d be glad to help you with any date comparisons if you like. Just PM me.
This is the most meaningful post on this thread. Think about it.

Re: VIN Number on Engine

Very normal and common. There was a federal law that required VIN stamping of engine components starting 1/1/1968. Most are found exactly where seen in your picture (on the cylinder head). The guy on the assembly line didn't get the memo that there is a flat boss that is actually more suited for the...

Re: Found R-Code 1968 Cougar Today

I have a 68 parts car with a nice roof, a hood that could be saved, disk brakes and a few other things you could likely use. It's a J code XR7 originally. Reach me at Rayaaa@charter.net or 248 867-3522. I'd like to get rid of this car in the next few weeks. Located in South Lyon, MI. This is the gre...
