Re: Ebay XR7G or not?

I wouldn't mind seeing it either. So back to my sunroof question in Gs'. If they didn't all come with one, do we know how many didn't, and does it make one without one more or less valuable? Like if there were only a couple made or something? Hypothetically speaking then if a person were to buy a G...

Re: Buying at a car show - Carlisle

I think your best bet is to call Carlisle Events and ask them what services are available to facilitate a sale during the show. I know there are banking services available but don't know exactly what they offer. You may be able to arrange a wire transfer, though, if you see the car you want.

Re: New 1968 Cougar XR7 door panels now available

They look good from here! Pretty impressive that your upholstery shop was able to recreate those by hand. Thanks! Here are some closeup pictures I took this morning: http://www.catvert68.com/sharedpics/20190307_075146_A.jpg http://www.catvert68.com/sharedpics/20190307_075159_A.jpg http://www.catver...

Re: New 1968 Cougar XR7 door panels now available

Here are a couple more pictures of the door panels. Again, not closeup enough to see the details but the best views I have until I can get out to the garage to take some better ones.

Re: New 1968 Cougar XR7 door panels now available

Pics or it didn't happen :D How'd they do the different textures and the "stitched" border? Splice together different materials? Or were they able to make a mold to heat press the patterns in? Here is the B3Cat page on my website. The one interior picture that shows a door panel isn't good enough t...

Re: New 1968 Cougar XR7 door panels now available

I had the ones on B3Cat made by a local trim shop. They used a set of parchment originals as a guide and found the correct materials from their supply base. The result is fantastic and I tested it by having some very knowledgeable Cougar folks at Carlisle look at the original door panels on BBCat an...

Re: what is worth more?

I think some folks are low-balling the value of the '67 4-speed. My automatic 67 XR-7 GT ( BBCat ) last sold to an international buyer for $27K and I've been offered quite a bit more for our '68 XR-7 GT original-style restomod ( B3Cat ). Take away the XR-7 package and swap in the 4-speed and I think...

Re: New addition to the fleet '68 XR-7 4 speed w AC!

Back around 2006 or so, I picked up a (F-code?, C-Code?) '67 standard with a 3-speed. Not long after, I decided to leave the corporate world and buy my own business so I sold it to Chris Gauch, who still has it. He's done some nice upgrades to it without fundamentally changing it. Maybe he'll chime ...

I'll second the Legendarylimeaz's '69 base coupe. That's a great-looking car.

Re: Show us your diecast Cougar!

I kept this one when I sold CatVert, but it recently met its end when I asked my grown children to carefully put it out of harms way as we prepared for some remodeling of our home. http://catvert68.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/diecast01.jpg Instead, it just got dumped in a pile with everything els...
