Re: Can this be true?

Thanks Leon and Don,

Leon, you said on the last thread there were no RHD Cougars, but I didn't know about the rest of Ford.

As for the tilt, there's enough mods that the tilt may be aftermarket and not have been part of the original conversion.

It's not my taste, but the wood work is amazing!
However, I do like how the woodwork closely matches the design of the factory versions!

Re: Can this be true?

It may not be tilt-away, but it looks to be a tilt column. Did Ford do any RHD builds or were they all contracted out? I imagine it wouldn't be hard to make another column fit due to part commonality.

It's not my taste, but the wood work is amazing!

Re: Red GT-E - Mecum Indy - May 2018

Hi All, It looks like nice work on validating this car, Rob. For myself, who is fully unqualified to judge, it looks like this car has been validated at this point. I would think we would have to see definitive evidence in support of it to keep this car flagged as rebodied. I'm kind of surprised thi...

Re: 67-68 Right Hand Drive Exports

Thanks for answering, Leon.

The ad states this one was ordered from a Canada dealer and shipped to Australia, so this wouldn't be one of the 2, I wouldn't think.

67-68 Right Hand Drive Exports

I was searching the net and came across an ad (sold) for a supposedly one-owner car in Australia. It is right-hand drive equipped and I noticed the right-hand mirror. This car has modifications, so I wouldn't trust it for originality, but it made me wonder about the mirror. Did Mercury sell right-ha...

Shouldn't the screens be installed with the wires at a 45 degree angle?
Yes, and the screen should have a pressed or flattened look. They've been replaced with what looks like quarter-square wire mesh.

Re: 68 GT on Craigslist

It's a scam listing. Only one (poorly chosen) pic when others can be found, no contact info and minimal description that was copied from another ad.

Re: The Mustangs Unlimited GTE is back for Sale

I wonder if this car will eventually gain value due to its own notorious history. It's certainly a well known car.

Re: FIRE

They had something like 600 cars for sale and on consignment and 150 were in the fire.
